The Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at the University of California, Irvine, invite you to join us in our signature party of the year, Pikes of the Caribbean. Come dressed up and party like a pirate, we have 4 busses shuttling to a sick new venue with a full bar and lots of dancing room. It takes place on Thursday Oct 23rd, Thursday of Week 4, and buses will be leaving from the AV commuter lot at 9:30pm.

We will also be hosting our second annual "Surrender the Booty Sorority Competition!" The winning chapter will receive a very classy champagne party later in the year.

Captains

Each Sorority will be assigned a Captain for the week, you can find your sorority's captain on the far right column. Each captain will carry a sword with him during the duration of the game, it is your objective to steal a sword from another sorority's captain. If you're successful, the captain will give you a coin (booty,) 5 of these gold coins can be turned in at the Pike booth for Pikes of the Caribbean apparel.

Deckhands

Each Sorority's captain will also be assigned "deckhands," composed of members from our Fall pledge class, Nu, they will assist you in finding other captain's so you can steal their sword. They're names can be found on the facebook event

The winner will be announced at Pikes of the Caribbean

Rules
  1. While on campus, you can steal a captain's sword as many times in one day, however you must wait 10 minutes between steals.
  2. If you are not on campus, you can only steal a sword once a day.
  3. Each girl involved in capturing a sword will receive a coin, redeemable for a Pikes of the Caribbean shirt at the Pike booth on campus.
  4. Captains must have swords on them at all times during the duration of the game.
  5. Captains can work with their sorority to capture other Captain's swords.
  6. No Safe Zones, except the Pike booth on ring road, and within classrooms!
  7. Keep to the code

Who can attend?

If you are 18 or older, you are eligible to attend Pikes of the Caribbean.

If you're male, you must be invited by a Lambda Lambda Pike, who must give you a formal invitation which you must bring to the parking lot to board the bus.

Will there be security?

Yes, a security agency is employed at each of our events, they will cover activities at the parking lot, as well as the venue.
